Science is the art of observation and it can have a profound effect on the physical world. Documenting our observations and analyzing the data that has been collected makes it easier to assess probable outcomes and plan for more possibilities.

Is Science important? The answer lies right in front of our eyes. Think about a world without technology. No computers, no cars. No vaccines or cures for diseases. Life would be joyless and extremely hard. It was not long ago that this was the case. How ever, now with science on our side it's a whole new story.

Rocky Shore Field Report

The first objective of the excursion to the Caloundra rocky shore was to observe and record organisms found in the rock platform area, and identify the adaptations of each species which enhance its survival. Secondly, it was to record physical factors which affect life in the area. Lastly, it was to study the vertical zonation at the rock platform.

Icebergs off New Zealand’s Coastline

The last time this happened was in 1930 and this time we can have the footage to record how big they actually are. This is history in the making, a piece of Antarctica on our back door step.The bergs have been traveling north for about five years and scientists have been monitoring their progress.
