While states like California, Florida, and Hawaii get most of the attention when it comes to Endangered species (and rightly so) it is important to remember that these are not the only areas in the nation facing ecological problems with declining wildlife populations. Even boring old Iowa is finding that some of its native inhabitants are having a hard time just surviving.
