Since an air washer increases humidity, it would be best suited for drier climates. Seems like it would be possible to optimize the size and scale so it could be solar / renewable powered.

Surely someone has already invented this!

I think it is a great idea but there are some people that can't take the ions. It gives them a problem breathing. But then again so does smog!

I have been testing some of these ionizers out but not for the same reason. As you know I'm into the paranormal and found that the charge in the air can create or bring forth spirits and paranormal activity.

If you can create something like this in a small version I would love to sell them on my website at www.hauntedcuriosities.com
