By using race to determine whether a person should be stopped presents mistrust within the community among the people living there. A prejudice continues within all police departments as people continue to be profiled according to their race. Stop and seizure continues without probable cause and the corruption within police departments contribute to the vast continuation of profiling within communities. If you are black you can sure to be stopped in suburb- rural areas of New York State. Sadly but true this type of behavior among police in common and continues.
Racial profiling is common and people are arrested if they are black and sleeping on the street, and have no money. If you are down on your luck and black-the chances of you becoming arrested increase. Shelters consist of their own corruption, health issues, and power games within themselves. The poor and indigent continue to be down trodden and considered lazy and good for nothings. These feelings are increased as prejudice deepens within community walls, and the fear grows among the people living there--- as race serves to alter and determine whether you are good or bad.
