Everyday we see in the media people that strive more and more to look perfect. We always are hearing about this one surgery for losing weight. This one looks good now that she got new breasts. It seems like today you can't look like a normal average person. You have to look like a movie star everywhere you go. Even if it is just to get the mail. Its like you can't escape being put under a microscope. People get airbrushed just so we can awe at them. A lot of this false sense of perfection has polluted today's youth.
We want people to like us for who we are. But, as more technologies advance on how to look even more perfect it defeats getting to know someone. It's like seeing a subliminal message everyday that you need to snap into reality and be like everyone else. We are living in a world that doesn't show that much class and dignity. If you were decent clothes you are dressing as a grandmother. Some people will go broke in order to have what the celebrities and rich people have. They will dress like a million bucks and not even have one dollar in their pocket. It's like we have to grade people on the best designer clothes and who is the most beautiful.
You have to have good self-esteem not to let public self image bring you down. You have to be sure of yourself that you are the best person that you can be with a good soul. Surrounding yourself with positive people will always be good for your well being. People that love you no matter what you look like or how much you have in your pocket. There is never anything wrong with going to God in prayer and asking for strength and for him to shadow you with his love. God has no respect of persons.
