To America, different is accepted, but cautiously. To California, different is everywhere. And right here in Escondido, different is normal. So, it isn't just my opinion. It's the worlds. Everyone has a different opinion. But, in the world there are a chosen few who turned out really different, maybe not on the outside but on the inside. And the world calls these people Homosexuals.
Now I can tell you that the world has accepted Homosexuality, I could tell you that Homosexuals have the same rights as everyone else, I could even tell you that Homosexuals are the gayest people around… well other than the last part all of it is a lie. Since the beginning of human life, there have been people who have been a bit different. And they where either picked on a lot or killed for being different. Because they where gay!
I could tell you that mankind has evolved a lot. And they have accepted gays. But once again, I would be lying. Even to this day, males and females who have shown any sign of gayness. Are picked on mercilessly. Though there are many people who do believe gays are okay. Take me for example; I believe that gays are cool. And to be honest have really good fashion since. Like there are a lot of males in fashion designing and more than ¾'s of them are gay and they come out with a lot of good stuff but of course what would I know I don't have any fashion since.
But anti-homosexuals aren't just in the people but they are also in our government. Why do you think that it was or still is illegal for gays to get married? You see it doesn't matter what your job is. Because people are still people and they will always have the same instinct. Different is a bad thing.
People say that we have come far, we have evolved, but how can that be true if we can't accept that everyone is different and that is just how we are. Maybe if we did the world would get along a whole lot better. Because different isn't a bad thing. It's a way of life. In fact it is life.
