In the future, prostitution will go high-tech with androids called pleasure units. They will be both male and female and give sexual pleasure to both sexes.

Unlike the replicants in "Bladerunner," this one has a nearly unlimited lifespan and can be programmed to be as passive or aggressive as desired. Since she is supposed to represent Japanese women, she would be subserviant, yet strong enough to avoid being abused since she is a machine. At least she won't be like the androids in the movies and on TV.
She will be programmed to gratify men and give them sexual pleasure. She will also be able to respond to their touch and advances in the ways they would expect a human female to respond. But if they go beyond the parameters allowed by the service company, the android will be able to defend herself either physically or with electric shock.
The couple will be able to go out on the town and see the sights. She won't need to eat since she is robotic. But many will have energy catalysts that will be able to digest food like a human and use the substances in foods and beverages to produce energy that will be stored. It may be very minimal. So the primary source of energy could be a nuclear battery system or a flywheel storage system. The less expensive ones will need to plug themselves in after maybe eight or twelve hours.
Since she is robotic, she will have a vast memory of information that the businessman may want to know. She could take him to the places he will want to visit and afterwards go to his room and have sex. She will provide for him sexual pleasure and even stimulate him electronically like no human prostitute can do. She will do almost anything he wants her to do up to a point.
If she is programmed to be passive, she won't let him abuse her. If she is programmed to be aggressive, she won't hurt him. If she is an advanced model, she will be able to become pregnant. She will receive the sperm and combine the human DNA after the genes have been synthesized and replicated and combine it with her synthetic DNA. A cyborg will be produced that is more robotic than human.
Male androids will be popular with women from Western cultures that by the late 21st century will be more aggressive than they are now. They will want a male to allow them to take charge. But they will also want him to act like a man, most likely. So he can be gentle yet strong. He will give them the sexual pleasure they desire without the possibility of pregnancy since humans can't create synthetic DNA.
In the future, people who want to adopt a child but want one that is as perfect as possible, may opt for androids and cyborgs. They will be able to grow due to their synthetic construction. Every year the parents may have to go into a robotic maintenance shop and have the adopted android or cyborg adjusted to grow and develop. They will give the parents no problems if they are maintained properly. They may even cost less than a human child to rear because they won't need to go to college which can be expensive. They also won't need other things that humans need. The ones that can reproduce may even give their parents grandchildren, though they'll be synthetic beings.
Pleasure units will be disease-free and might cost less than human prostitutes. They'll never age and might be able to last for decades. Sexual services companies may have many units to be rented by clients for as little as $100 an hour. By the time they become a reality, that could be less than the going rate for human prostitutes.
