Recently food and petrol prices have skyrocketed! This had made alot of people lives disasters. Alot of people are having to work overtime because prices have gone up crazily over the past year and a half. Also alot of families have had to cut down on water and power usage, have short 2 minute showers and walk or bike everywhere because of these crazy new prices. But why have the prices gone up so much?
The gas and oil companies say that there has been a shortage of their supplies, but are they telling the truth or just trying to rip us off and make bigger profits? Could it be because the government is spending to much money and has told companies to raise prices so that they get alot more GST? Well nobody really knows the full truth but i do believe the government is not telling us something because most of them are sleezy, greedy people who just want to steal peoples money.
But hopefully in the near future the prices will go back to what they were 3 or 4 years ago so we can start to get back to doing the things that we want in life like 20 minute, hot showers or huge parties with tonnes of food for everyone to enjoy. This is the life that I would like to have back soon.
