An interesting development in science, Lake Vostok is the only lake on Earth that has not been touched by humans yet. It is a very interesting body of water because it can suggest life on other places in the universe that have a similar environment.

Most everyone has the same concept of volcanoes: Triangular mountains that spew out hot, molten lava out of a crater on its top. But there are many different kinds of volcanoes, different types of eruptions, and even different types of material that spew out of volcanoes.

God's awesome power can protect in the worst circumstances, especially when we cannot make it on our own. He rode with my Mom and me on a 50 mile drive at night, in a terrible winter storm. We arrived home, utterly safe and uninjured.

In this great big world of ours we have many different forms of natural hazards. They are either very weak or powerful, non deadly to very deadly, and/or minimal damage to very, very costly. There is one form of natural disaster that can have all of the extreme effects when it occurs, and this is called a hurricane.
