During the last few days, I stumbled across an article regarding Gaia, a force that protects the earth ecosystem. Well, if you watch Final Fantasy Spirited Away, you would probably understand what I am trying to say. So, in the article it says that the Gaia now is starting to do something to balance back the earth ecosystem which is by killing us.
We, human are the greatest threat the world can ever face. Yet, we are the most stupid creature alive. Why do I say such a word? We live in this world since the beginning of time, from the first day we were born till the last day we will be engraved. We owe the world a lot and it is impossible for us to pay the world for it deeds. Unfortunately, despite the world's great help to us, we become greedy by destroying the forests for money, killing animals for fun and pleasure, heating up the earth till the earth cannot bare with it no more. We are destroying our only hope.
Now, the earth security system has been triggered. Some believes that this theory is just another fake things that just going to be gone after the election but for someone who cares, the misery is just begun. The earth security system can be divided into two sections, the minor alert and the major button of destruction. This is not a scientific theory but just my personal opinion.
The first earth security system had triggered a long time ago and still trigger till now to give us warnings about the second security system. I am talking about thunder storm, earthquake, flood, drought, and tornado and so on. Do you ever wonder why natural disaster keeps coming year after year after year? It is because of our own fault, we have triggered the first warning signs. This warning signs already show us what will happen if we continue destroying the earth but some of us just never care, right Uncle Sam?
Now, some scientists say that the second earth security system is going to trigger in just a few years time. I would like to quote something I learnt from Al Gore in his movie, the Inconvenient Truth. The rating of the global warming is getting high every year and it is getting higher till Al Gore himself has to use the escalator to show the public where the highest peak of the temperature. In the movie, most scientists believe that global warming is not a myth, it is a global warning that been told by earth to us. So, what would the second security system is? My guess would be the melting ice of the Arctic.
Why the melting of the Arctic ice? Arctic ice is like a mirror that reflects most of the heat been struck down by the hot sun to earth surface. For so long, the heat did not melt the ice but since the earth itself is hot due to global warming, the Arctic ice cannot stand the heat and give up. Some footages show that the Arctic ice is getting smaller every single year. Now, what it have to do with us? Well, we will be drowned. If this phenomenon continues without any effort to stop it, the sea level will rise to a much higher level that we cannot imagine.
Bangladesh, some parts of India and Thailand, Singapore, Holland and any other countries that situated below the sea level will be submerge into another Atlantis city. Malaysia would become an island. There will be overpopulated; much overpopulated then what happen now because refugees will run away from such countries to save themselves. Land would be full and there would be fewer places to live. Less land would be fewer sites for agriculture purposes hence the starvation rate will increase rapidly.
Do you want to wait until the second security system triggered? If you ask me, I really do not want such things to happen. I know you hate that too. So, play your role as a human which you will end up to be an environmentalist. Help save the earth before the time comes where we cannot save ourselves.
