Tornadoes come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and the actual matter that is thrown about within in it. This guide will inform you on some of the most interesting ones.

1. The common tornado is made up of dust, dirt and flying debris. The formation of a tornado is very rare in some places, and awfully frequent in others. They form when opposing winds begin to make contact, then they start to swirl. Other factors are temperature, air moisture and density, and the speed of the wind. Left is an average tornado, nothing special, except that it's obliterating every thing in its path. The torndao to the right is essenially the same, but it has a lightning storm incorperated, making it much more dangerous. It also looks much more awesome.

2. These tornadoes are just trivial when compared to this one. This is the largest tornado on record in the United States. It was so large, it earned the nickname "the tri-state."

3. Not all tornadoes need to be made of dust, dirt, rock and wind. Some are made of fire. These ones are usually not very big, but they can be the most devastating. During a fire, the last thing a firefighter needs is a fifty-foot tall column of fire erupting fire, ash and sparks all over the place. They can be found in forest fires, but also in oil trick crashes. If the oil inside is lit, and there is only a small opening that it can get out, pressure will increase and cause a tornado. These oil tornadoes only last about five seconds, because after that it will a go BOOM!

4. Thanks to modern technology, the ability to form artificial tornadoes is possible. However, these are nowhere near as powerful as the ones nature provides.
