Our Atmosphere

What do you really know about our atmosphere?

Gas NamePercent Volume
Nitroge78.08%
Oxygen20.95%
Argon0.93%
Carbon Dioxide0.0360%
Neon0.0018%
Helium0.0005%
Methane0.00017%
Hydrogen0.00005%
Nitrous Oxide0.00003%

This is a chart of all the gases in the atmosphere. As you can see there is a variety of different substances. Some are considered dangerous, some are not. Taking a closer look we see that some of the gases we consider dangerous are in very small amounts.

Take methane for example. People are extremely aware of it but it only makes up 0.00017%of the atmosphere. But considering the atmosphere is huge, it is quite a problem.

However if you see, the most abundant gas in the world is in fact harmless.
