Clouds & Wind Pressure In Our Area

A study to find out about the clouds & wind pressure in our area.

We conducted the study in the lower passive area. Unfortunately, on the day that was issued in school time, there were absolutely no clouds in the sky whatsoever. We then had to complete the fieldwork in our own time.

Methodology

How high are the clouds?

We identified how high the clouds were by observing them from the ground. We agreed on an answer after debate and wrote it down.

How much of the sky is covered in clouds?

We identified how much of the sky was covered by judging how many eighths of the sky was covered in cloud. We also finally agreed after a long debate.

How rain is formed in clouds?

We identified how rain is formed in clouds by using a geography website to help us understand.

What type of cloud is it?

We identified what type of clouds we were looking at by using a cloud chart, kindly provided by the school. The chart showed many different clouds, so we were able to find a pretty accurate decision.

How strong is the wind?

Finally, we identified how strong he wind was by using the Beaufort Scale, which Tim printed out. This was also very detailed so we were able to decide once again on a accurate decision.
