Global Warming

What we are doing to the Earth.

Global warming is a serious threat to everyone in the world. In fact, many scientists believe that if we don't change our actions our world will be facing huge problems. Global warming occurs by the green house affect. The green house effect is when too much CO2 (carbon dioxide) is released onto the atmosphere. As you all know the earth stays warm by absorbing heat from the suns rays, but with so much extra CO2 in the atmosphere, too much heat is stored onto the earth. This problem can change the climate drastically. If we don't change our actions not only will be more natural disasters, but many animals are becoming extent, such as polar bears and penguins.

As you can see the average temperature of the earths surface is raising drastically, as you can see during the 1960s it has grown enormously because of cars being more common (the main cause of global warming is the CO2 released from cars). Another effect of global warming is the evaporation of rives, lakes etc. As these start to evaporate we will loose our drinking water supply. Not only does it cause us to loose drinking water but since the oceans are water it will cause to form more whether changes as there will be more clouds in the sky. Temperatures on both land and sea have increased by 0.75oC (1.35F). Sea temperatures rise slower then land. As you can see the human race is causing drastic changes to the Earth.

Yeah, the polar bears have only been able to increase FIVE fold in the past 40 years, a real crisis.

As I can see, he fails to source the highly skewed temperature graph. No cookie for bogus material. CO2science.org
