Top Five Funny Science Music Videos

From Schrodingers Cat to the PCR song, the top five science related spoof music videos in one easy-to-use list.

So here we are, the countdown of the top 5 funny science-related music videos, each with the science part explained underneath! So hopefully you can have a bit of a giggle, and learn something! Everyone wins!

So, without any further ado, I present to you...

5: Schrodinger's Cat Strikes Back

The science: The experiment was only a thought experiment (It wasn't actually preformed!), so no cats were actually harmed. The actual point of this thought experiment was to show that at a quantum level a particle can be in two states at once. However, schrodinger's experiment was not meant to show that literally a cat can be dead and alive at once, but to show the weirdness of quantum physics.

4: BioRap

The science: This video basically explains how DNA is used to synthesise protein. In short, DNA is converted into RNA, and then is paired up. The RNA leaves the nucleus, and for each base in the string of RNA a section of the new protein (Called amino acids) line up.

3: The PCR Song

The science: None, but it deserved to be #3!

2: The element song

The science: Every substance on earth is made up from a combination of different elements. These elements are described in the Periodic Table, along with their average mass (It varies) and its atomic number.

1: Large Hadron Rap

The science: The LHC is super duper fly! Check it!
