Five Most Stunningly Beautiful and Colorful Saltwater Aquarium Fish Species From the Ocean Deep

This is about the beautiful and colorful aquarium fish species from the Ocean.

Saltwater aquarium fish species are stunningly beautiful and very attractive but they require tender loving care, otherwise they will not last compared to freshwater varieties. Saltwater fish species are likewise expensive and sometimes difficult to maintain.

Here are 10 stunningly beautiful and colorful saltwater aquarium fish species that are guaranteed to keep you relaxed while looking at them in your favorite aquarium.

Angelfish

Large size Angelfish, require a fairly large aquarium that would accommodate at least 180 gallons to house 2 large size fish. Angelfish saltwater species require substantial saltwater vegetable varieties for their food. They undergo major color changes as they mature.

Dwarf varieties which are easier to maintain include the Flame Angelfish and the Lemon peel Angelfish as shown in the picture below:

Butterfly Fish

The Raccoon Butteflyfish shown at the left side photo is not reef-safe and may be moderately maintained. It comes mostly in yellow color with darker saddle and white mask. It grows up to about 7.9 inches. At right is Tinker's Butterfly fish.

Clown Fish

Clown Fish species are mostly found in the Asia Pacific region particularly in Fiji Island and Tonga. They are very popular aquarium fish because of its history in a movie “Finding Nemo” where it was featured. They come in a variety of colors, the most dominant are orange, black and white. It grows up to 3 inches in length.

Shown in the above photos are different popular varieties of clownfish.

Blennies

Another popular aquarium is the Blenny. Blennies are popular because of their noted peaceful and helpful attributes. They are popular as lawnmower fish because they clean up algae inside the aquarium. They also thrive in the reef environment which provide hiding place for them.

Blennies are relatively easy to maintain. They eat mostly frozen or live foods or plant matters. They don't have teeth so they should be given bite size food.

Banggai Cardinal Fish

The Banggai Cardinal Fish species are found mostly in the waters of Indonesia. It has a very small population and is now threatened with extinction due to unregulated exploitation for the international aquarium trade. This fish specie grows up to 3 inches in length and may be differentiated from other Cardinal fish species because of its contrasting patterns of black and light bars with white spots.

These five saltwater aquarium fish species are the most popular and are easy to maintain. They are also the most attractive among the smaller kinds of saltwater species. There are other species in the saltwater category and they can be good selections for those who can well afford high cost of maintenance and big aquarium for their habitat.

Thanks for posting these beautiful pictures for others to enjoy. I sure feel relaxed just by looking at them. but I wonder if they will be happy living in aquariums rather in their natural habitat. I watched "Finding Nemo" and I asked myself if fishes have feelings too.
