Is Our Water Ok?

This actually was a science fair project that deals with environmental stuff.

In a recent study by me, Jonathan Holter, I tested the livablity of 4 water samples by putting goldfish in jars of the water. I studied the fish for 2 weeks, making sure the fish had the same living conditions other than the water. The water samples were of Wolf Lake (a lake near my house), Lake Michigan, tap water, and from a wastewater (thats were "crap" gets dumped). To my suprise, on Day 4, the fish in the Lake Michigan water died.

Then, on Day 9, the fish in the tap water died. Next, on Day 13, the fish in the Wolf Lake died. So, the winner was the fish in the Wastewater won, which REALLY disgusted me. So in conclusion, the "crap-water", could allow the fish to live longer than the other water samples.

After doing this study, I decided to enter it in a local science challege. So in the end, I got 3rd place. Not the best place I've gotten, though.
