Amazing Body Parts You Never Knew You Had

Do you think you know all about your body parts? If you do, then read on and discover your canthus and your philtrum.

Eponychium

The cuticle of the fingernail. This is a very thin band of tissue that goes down underneath the nail wall.

Glabella

The area between the eyebrows. This is a flat area just above the nose.

Lunula

The white half moon on the bottom of your fingernails.

Phalanx

Any one of the bones in the toes, or fingers. There are three phalanges in each finger and two in each big toe and thumb.

Philtrum

The groove right in the middle of the upper lip.

Canthus

The corner of the eye where the two lids meet.

I am sorry but I do not know the correct names for some of my body parts. In fact I didn't know they all had names.I learn something new almost every day.
