Sea Level Rise Up to Two Meters

The official Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has predicted that the sea level will rise from 28 to 43 centimeters and no more than 60 centimeters by 2100.

American researchers report in the journal Science that global warming will lead to the end of the 21th century to rising sea levels faster than projected due to officially melting ice.

This means that flooding large areas of Florida in the U.S., Bangladesh and other low-densely populated regions of the world, as Holland.

However, the expert on glaciers Tant Pfefer, the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado and his team, consider that an increase in the level will be from 80 to 200 centimeters.

In addition, new research indicates that the "terrorist" estimates of other scientists for an increase in the level height of several measures, it is impossible from the physical side because there is so available for melting ice.

It is recalled that the eco-documentary "An inconvenient truth" of Al Gore foresees growth of 6 meters.
