Lab Report

A science lab report for growing radishes.

Hypothesis

I was growing radishes that were exposed to disturbed music, and comparing the data with other radishes which were either grown with normal conditions (light and water) or were exposed to motivational speeches by their grower. The independent variable in my experiment was the plant "listening" to music. The Dependant variable was to see how much it would grow. My hypothesis was that the plants in the control group the most because they were normal.

Materials and methods

To carry out this experiment, I needed a Styrofoam cup, dirt, water, disturbed music, and four radish seeds

Procedure

I first filled my cup half way full with dirt. Then I Put in my four radish seeds and put dirt over them a few centimeters thick. I then watered them each day and watched them grow, and let them listen to disturbed music at night.

Data Analysis

(See Graphs and Back of lab journal)

Results and Conclusions

Unlike my Hypothesis, the Plants in the disturbed group were the ones that grew the most. Apparently plants like music!
